Why I would be a great babysitter?
I have hands-on experience caring for my 5-year-old nephew since he was smaller, and I also tutor my cousins aged 7 to 15. Through them, I learned how to keep children safe, happy, and engaged especially toddlers who are active, curious, and communicative. I understand that young children have developmental phases when they can be restless or frustrated, and I stay calm, patient, loving, and emotionally stable even in challenging situations.
As a Licensed Teacher, I know how to make learning fun through playing, reading aloud, singing, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and educational games. I can help with daily routines including playtime, walks to the park and playground, mealtimes, getting dressed, bath time, homework help, and bedtime routines. I also tidy up toys and keep the children's area clean and organized.
Because my major is Home Economics, I am also skilled in cooking healthy and simple meals for kids, ironing, cleaning, and keeping the home safe and orderly.
