My name is Manal, I am 24 years old, and I come from Morocco. I am a computer engineering graduate, single, and I do not have any children. I would describe myself as a caring, patient, responsible, friendly, and open-minded person. I enjoy discovering new cultures, learning languages, cooking, doing sports, and preparing healthy meals.
I would love to become an au pair because I see it as a wonderful opportunity to discover a new culture, improve my language skills, and become part of a welcoming family while sharing my own culture and traditions.
I have experience working with children as a teaching assistant at École Française Louis Massignon in Bouskoura, Casablanca, from 2021 to 2023. During this time, I helped teachers supervise and support students, participated in educational and extracurricular activities, and assisted with their daily learning and development. I also have experience working with children at City School Group in Casablanca, and I enjoy helping my younger sisters.
These experiences have helped me develop patience, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to understand children's needs. I enjoy spending time with children, playing with them, supporting their learning, helping them with homework, and encouraging them to discover new things in a safe and positive environment. I can also help children with mathematics and physics, and I would be happy to support their schoolwork when needed.
I also enjoy cooking and can prepare Moroccan dishes such as tagine, couscous, and soups, as well as Italian-inspired meals like pasta, salads, and other simple, healthy dishes. I would be happy to share Moroccan recipes with your family and learn your favourite recipes too!
I am adaptable, respectful of family rules, and willing to help with everyday tasks related to the children. I believe that trust, kindness, and good communication are essential for a successful au pair experience. For me, being an au pair is not only about childcare; it is also about cultural exchange, sharing experiences, and building a genuine relationship with the host family.
