My name is Adelle, and I am from Cameroon. I am a caring, patient, responsible, and open-minded young woman who enjoys spending time with children and supporting their growth and development. I am excited about the opportunity to become an au pair because I love working with children, helping them learn new things, and being part of a warm and welcoming family.
I have experience teaching young children and supporting their learning. I worked as a primary school teacher for two years, and I have also gained childcare and tutoring experience here in my country. Currently, have a bachelor's degree in Education, specializing in Educational Psychology, with Inclusive Education. My studies have helped me understand children's development, learning styles, individual needs, and the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for every child.
I enjoy helping children with their homework, reading stories with them, playing educational games, engaging in creative activities, and encouraging their curiosity. I believe that children learn best when they feel loved, respected, understood, and supported. I am also patient with children who need extra help with their learning and enjoy finding creative ways to make learning enjoyable.
Beyond childcare, I would be happy to help with child-related household responsibilities, such as preparing simple meals for the children, keeping their play areas tidy, organizing their activities, and helping maintain their daily routines. I understand the importance of communication, trust, respect, and cooperation when living with a host family.
As a Cameroonian who speaks English and French, I would also love to share my language, culture, traditions, and experiences with your family while learning about yours. I see the au pair experience as a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange, personal growth, and building meaningful relationships across cultures.
I would describe myself as gentle, trustworthy, adaptable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn. I respect family rules and parenting preferences, and I believe in communicating openly to ensure that both the children and the host parents feel comfortable and supported.
