An exciting new opportunity awaits a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper ready to make a lasting commitment with a lovely family of four. As a team of 2 housekeepers, you will be entrusted with the care and upkeep of the family’s newly finished primary residence in Alt-Bogenhausen Munich. This position offers a chance to work in a team alongside another housekeeper and 2 cleaners, ensuring that this 6-bedroom home is maintained to the highest standard year-round.

With an excellent eye for detail, you will have good knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine furnishings, materials and fabrics. Energetic and flexible in your approach, you will be responsible, reliable and consistent in your day-to-day tasks. Responsible for general housekeeping, laundry and ironing, you will also prepare breakfast, light meals and occasional dinners for the family and be responsible for laying and clearing the table.

Other responsibilities will include grocery shopping, errand running and liaising with external service providers such as gardeners and maintenance companies, ensuring the smooth running of the property. The ideal candidate will be attentive, well-presented and have a strong work ethic and positive attitude whilst still remaining discreet and boundaried, offering an unobtrusive service. Having a full EU driving license is essential for this role.

Working 40 hours per week, you will manage your time effectively to ensure the home is always well maintained and spotless – flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is imperative for this role. During the week and over weekends, shift work is desired, however flexible working hours are key. Should the candidate need to relocate for this opportunity, the family is willing to assist in finding suitable accommodation for the housekeeper near their home, an extra €500 a month will go towards accommodation, the rest will need to be covered by the candidate.

ESSENTIËLE CRITERIA:
• Professional experience and longevity as a housekeeper in an UHNW household
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning products and caring for high-end furnishings and surfaces
• Independent and proactive way of working
• Discreet, boundaried and unobtrusive
• Fluency in English and German desired
• Cooking skills are desirable (Breakfast and light meals)
• Willingness to work on weekends and during the holiday season
• Right to live and work in the EU
• Full EU driving license
• Excellent, checkable references from previous employers
