I'd be happy to be your occasional evening sitter!
I was a flight attendant for 28 yrs, then I took early retirement, and I've been babysitting part-time for the past 11 yrs. I love children, and I enjoy playing with them indoors and out, reading to them and helping them to read, and helping them to learn in general.
I'm very friendly, trustworthy, and dependable. I've been the first-time non-family sitter for almost all of the families that I've worked for, and children feel comfortable around me very quickly, they can see how much I like them and like playing with them. I take care of a maximum of two children at a time, as I want to be able to give them each a lot of attention.
I ask for $18 - $20/HR, depending on the number of children and their age, and I ask for 4 hrs minimum pay per job. I'm willing to work within a 60 mile range, but if my driving time each way is more than 45 minutes I'd ask for one hr of extra pay. I accept cash or check. I'm available weekday and weekend evenings between 5 pm - 1 am, and I may be available on short notice, as long as I haven't already made plans for the evening.
