Hello!

My name is Kayla, and I am from South Africa. I am a caring, responsible and enthusiastic childcare professional with a Bachelor of Education degree in Foundation Phase and a 120-hour TEFL certificate.

I have approximately six years of experience working with children between the ages of 1 and 13, including working at an Early Childhood Development (ECD) centre and in aftercare programmes.

My experience includes both educational and hands-on childcare responsibilities. I have experience changing nappies, feeding children, preparing and assisting with mealtimes, helping with nap times and sleep routines, organising play activities and ensuring children's daily needs are taken care of. I also enjoy reading stories, doing arts and crafts, playing educational games and supporting children's learning and development.

Working with children has taught me the importance of patience, kindness, responsibility and understanding that every child has different needs. I always strive to create a safe, loving and stimulating environment where children feel comfortable, supported and happy.
