Introduction
Hi! My name is Chloe and I am from Cape Town, South Africa. I am currently completing my BA degree in Fashion Retail and have been working as an au pair and babysitter alongside my studies for the past three years.
I am the eldest of three siblings and have always loved being around children. Through au pairing, I have gained experience caring for children from 8 months to 12 years old, including caring for three young children at the same time. My responsibilities have included school lifts, homework, preparing meals, bath and bedtime routines, activities and simply spending time playing with the children.
During my gap year, I also travelled to Sri Lanka where I volunteered teaching English to young children, which was an amazing experience.
I would describe myself as calm, caring, responsible and easy-going. In my free time I love running, baking, travelling and spending time with my friends and family. I am really excited about the opportunity to become part of a host family, get to know your children and experience life in the U.S.
