Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Eunice, I am 30 years old, and I am a loving and responsible mother of one. I am a warm, caring, patient, respectful and hardworking person who enjoys being around children and creating a safe, happy and comfortable environment for them. I am excited about the opportunity to become an au pair because I would love to experience life in another country, learn about a new culture, meet new people and, most importantly, become a helpful and trusted member of a host family.
Being a mother has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, understanding and the importance of giving a child love and attention. I understand that every child is different and has their own personality, needs and interests. I enjoy spending time with children, listening to them, encouraging them and helping them feel confident and comfortable. I believe children need both care and guidance, but they also need someone who will listen to them, play with them and make everyday moments enjoyable.
As an au pair, I would be happy to help with children's daily routines, preparing simple meals, helping with homework, keeping their rooms and belongings organized, children's laundry and other light household responsibilities related to the children. I am also willing to help with shopping and errands when needed. I understand that being an au pair is not simply about looking after children; it is also about being dependable, respectful of the family's home and willing to contribute positively to everyday family life.
I am a person who takes responsibilities seriously. When I commit to something, I try my best to do it well. I am also willing to learn and adapt because I understand that every family has its own routines, expectations and way of doing things. I would take time to understand your family's rules and preferences and communicate openly with you whenever I have questions or concerns.

I am particularly excited about the cultural exchange aspect of being an au pair. I believe living with a family in another country would be a wonderful opportunity for personal growth and would help me become more independent, confident and open-minded.
I am comfortable helping children with their everyday activities and would enjoy doing things such as playing games, reading stories, drawing, going for walks, spending time outdoors and helping them with age-appropriate activities. I believe children learn through everyday experiences, so I would encourage them to be curious, creative and confident while making sure they are safe.
I am also willing to assist with light housekeeping and other reasonable tasks that are part of family life. I understand the importance of keeping a home clean and organized, and I am happy to contribute where I can. I would also be open to helping with pets if your family has them, as long as their care is clearly discussed and agreed upon beforehand.
