Hello! My name is Sade, and I’m from the Dominican Republic. I’m currently studying Nursing at university, and I would describe myself as a caring, responsible, patient, organized, and dependable person.

I have several years of experience caring for children of different ages, including babies, toddlers, and school-age children. I have gained experience through babysitting, caring for my younger siblings and family members, and volunteering with children through my church youth group. Being the oldest of five children has also taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and how to support younger children. I enjoy helping with their daily routines, preparing meals, reading with them, playing, helping with homework, and creating fun activities that are appropriate for their age.

What I enjoy most about working with children is being able to see their personalities grow and being part of their everyday lives. I love creating a safe and positive environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and happy. I also understand that every child is different, so I always try to be patient and attentive to their individual needs and routines.

As an au pair, I would love to become someone your children can trust and feel comfortable with, almost like a big sister. At the same time, I understand the importance of respecting the parents’ rules, routines, privacy, and parenting style. I believe good communication between the au pair and the host family is very important, and I’m always open to listening, learning, and working together.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my siblings and family, going for walks, and being outdoors. I also enjoy discovering new activities and would be happy to participate in activities with the children, whether that means playing games, going to the park, doing arts and crafts, reading, or simply spending quality time together.

One of the things I’m most excited about is experiencing American culture and sharing my Dominican culture with my host family as well. Family is very important to me, and I value love, respect, communication, and spending quality time together. I hope to find a family that is welcoming, kind, respectful, and communicative, where we can build a good relationship based on trust and understanding.
